Most breathing problems are related to a deviated septum. That means your nasal septum is crooked or curved. Suppose you’re lucky and your nasal septum is only deviated on the inside and it is not affecting the external structure of the nose. In that case, a septoplasty, which reshapes the septum, is sufficient for you. But if you notice that the external structure of your nose has deviated, or if you had a previous injury to the nose, then a septorhinoplasty is required because you will need to change the external structure of your nose to improve your breathing.
